"VOTD: Inception's Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Hardy As Star-Crossed Lovers"

So I know this is very self-centered of me, but I wanted to post this anyway. I was about three weeks away from posting my last chapter of “Star Crossed” in 2010 when I came across this online article. And I have to say, even though I knew it was probably a coincidence and I was just being full of myself, the title of this article made me think/wonder if the writer had read my story. It made me really happy but I eventually told myself I was being silly and forgot about it. But I stumbled across this again the other day and wanted to post it.

I am so proud A/E is finally getting mainstream recognition. I hate how it’s been lurking in the shadows of fanfiction, like it’s taboo or something to be ashamed of. It’s not. It’s about a beautiful romantic relationship, that happens to be between two men. I don’t even care if the actors read this article, in fact I want them to. This is a huge step in legitimizing homosexual relationships.

This was actually published in 2010 so it’s been out for a while, but I fully agree with you! I love the fact that someone was willing to write about this and publish it. I find that the more people hear about something, the more accepting they become of it because it just becomes a part of daily life. It made me so happy to know that more people are beginning to accept that relationships like this would be perfectly legitimate and okay <3 And let’s be honest, Arthur/Eames is basically canon :D
